• 5.0 out of 5 stars from Sweet But Cant Cook -- Great for beginners or wanting peace and positivity. : I LOVE LOVE LOVE this deck. I have purchased several tarot decks before but never used them. They did not give any explanations so when a card was drawn I could not interpret it. Also, The others seems so ugly and scary. If you have always wanted to have a tarot deck that is easy and positive THIS IS THE ONE. Now, given that... I am person with a massive amount of stress and negativity in my life.I don't need to re-hash all the crap going on in my life. I want positive, healthy inspiration. Something that will motivate me to make changes and not keep blaming myself or let others walk all over me. Other decks have not provided me any direction or motivate me to make changes or "think: about it the rest of the day. The deck is gorgeous. Each card is a lot thicker cardstock than any other ones I have. Other cards are the thickness like an actual playing card deck. This deck reminds me of the thickness of the little cardboard book you would buy a toddler when they are little so they don't rip the pages. The pictures are gorgeous. Of poor quality-very thin. A few of my cards were damaged from the paper ribbon that holds them together by making an indentation the caused the back to buckle, & start to peel. I don't believe these would hold up with regular use. Maybe I just got a bad batch. I've noticed some Hay House cards are good quality, & others are not. This is a shame because there are many card creators I love like Denise Linn, Colette Baron-Reid, Sandra Taylor, Rebecca Campbell, Kyle Gray, Radleigh Valentine, etc.... • 2.0 out of 5 stars from Amazon Customer -- Poor quality control : These cards definitely give accurate readings however, there was a serious flaw with my deck..... it came with the "number" of 2 cards reversed (Justice s/b 11 but it was labeled 8 and Strength s/b 8 but was labeled 11), rendering the deck completely useless. I would have processed an exchange but the sides on some of the cards started getting white (immediately damaged from shuffling). The colors on the cards appeared much lighter & brighter on Amazon than in real life and I'm not fond of the deep colors. Lastly, I do not like the book at all. Its 204 pages but as others have said, way too much fluff. I feel as though the book doesn't necessarily fully describe the cards. It just didn't resonate with me. It's more of a "feel good" vibe than actually describing the card for what it truly represents in its entirety. That being said, the messages from the book are beautiful. These are stunning; my first deck I've ventured out to since initially implementing Tarot (RWS) into my business. I felt so drawn to these, and I feel they are definitely something special. The soft, vintage imagery is gorgeously Victorian and helps to envoke a dreamy, sweet and positive energy during reading. I also love how it takes on an oracle-esque approach by using more abstract suits names and other unique identifiers for the courts and Majors. Best of all, having a small bit of insight on each card is just perfect for adding depth to messages and overall interpretation. I find that I personally always refer back to the traditional Tarot counterparts for reference, and then also consider the actual meanings implied by the creators of this deck. If you love the "Romance Angels" Tarot deck, also by Doreen Virtue (one I'd love to own but which is proving difficult since it's OOP), this is a good compliment. Only downfall is the size of these cards. I really struggle shuffling them. I put a card of my Radiant Rider-Waite Tarot card next to the Angels card, and as you can see on the picture the size difference is big. I still do love them so much and will keep them.
